Ski Trip

Delta Chi's ski trip is held the week following finals in December. We travel to somewhere in the Rocky Mountains for a week of skiing and relaxing with brothers and close friends. We'll usually fly together and charter a bus from the airport to the ski resort.

This past year's trip to Breckenridge, CO had 40 people attend. There's always a great mix of ability levels from experts heading over to the black diamond slopes to others taking lessons for the first time. We stayed 6 nights in condos, and has 5 day lift tickets in Breckenridge. The trip is always a great time.

Shoot the Hooch

On Memorial Day weekend, anyone still in town is invited to Shoot the Hooch - an afternoon rafting trip down the Chattahoochee river. Guys bring out their coolers and pack a lunch, then float down the river for several hours on rafts and tubes. Our brotherhood chair coordinates the event with alumni, so there's usually a few older guys around as well.
